Prepared with the famous Italian polenta or the Romanian hominy (porridge cooked on the water), which tastes both sweet example for breakfast with dried fruit and savory main courses or with tomato sauce. With corn porridge after milling into flour is also preparing pancakes, delicious desserts, puddings, cakes. It is used as a thickener for soups and sauces.
Method of preparation:
Boil 100g of barley in about 400ml of salted water for 10-15 minutes.
