Rei Verde Natural is a great yerba from a producer known for both great dried chimarrao and the Uruguayan variety Tipo P.U.1.

The drought is finely cut, with quite a lot of dust and practically no sticks.

The smell surprises with a combination of quite fresh-plant and subtly bready notes, which have been supplemented with an intriguing saltiness.

In taste, unlike the smell, it is definitely more cereal than fresh. Subtle with a modest bitterness in the background. The whole is quite creamy and leaves a pleasant astringency on the palate. With subsequent infusions, the aforementioned subtle salty note emerges, which adds uniqueness to the brew.
