Walnut nut oil is obtained in a cold pressing technique. It has a characteristic mild nutty flavour and a subtle aroma. It makes an ideal additive to salads and cold-served desserts. It is also perfect on top of rice, puddings, crepes, pancakes, yeast cake or fruit cake.
The oil should be used raw only – it should not be heated or used for frying meals, as it causes the loss of nutritional value.
