Mate Rojo is a yerba from the Argentinian Molinos la Mision S.A. plantation. located in the southern part of the Misiones province. The founder is the son of immigrants from Ukraine, Don Juan Eladio Stepaniuk. Outside the world of yerba, Molinos la Mision S.A. deals with afforestation of areas with various species of trees important for the environment.

The herb is medium-coarsely ground, with a relatively large amount of dust.
Smell: Reminiscent of an Argentinian classic from years ago, a mild smoke with sweet notes in the background.
It tastes more balanced than the traditional version. Mild, slightly creamy with sourness emerging at the front. The whole, however, is quite subdued, with a subtle sweetness in the background. It mellows quite quickly with subsequent flooding.
