Costa Norte is an Argentinian yerba mate from the Misiones province. It is characterized by the classic taste of Argentinean yerb, interspersed with noticeable bitterness and a delicate, fresh scent with a grassy note.
Yerba is devoid of smoky notes and tartness, so it will be perfect for beginners.
The drought consists of medium-sized leaves and sticks with a moderate amount of dust. Interestingly, yerba Costa Norte has a special method of processing in which the yerba mate leaves are first dried for 12 hours without the use of smoke, and then aged for 8 months.
