Aguantadora Despalada 500g

Aguantadora is the main brand of the Monte Carlo plantation in Argentina. A characteristic feature of this plant is a special treatment process in which the leaves and twigs of yerba mate have only short, quick contact with live fire and are not dried with smoke (sin humo).

Aguantadora Despalada is a classic Yerba Mate self-leaved (content of twigs up to approx. 5%).

In the dried material, you can see almost only medium and finely cut mate leaves, practically without dust.

The taste is delicate, not imposing bitterness, complemented rather by astringency on the tongue. With a very high potency, the taste is rather balanced, not overbearing, but pleasantly expressive.
