Pipore Traditional is a traditional yerba mate that is grown on ecological plantations in Argentina - in the Misiones province, i.e. in the north-eastern part of the country. In Guarani, "pi" means solid, "after" means hands, and "re" means footprints. It has to do with a legend that commemorates the flight of a leader of one of the Guarani tribes from "bandeirantes" catching the natives to enlist them into slave labor. According to this legend, the feet and hands of this leader left an indelible mark on the edge of the stream.
