Rei Verde Traditional Nativa Vacuum 500g (green)
Product detailed description
Contains finely ground leaves with an addition of coarsely cut stems to aid in filtration. To drink it, you need a bombilla with a flat round filter. Chimarrao significantly differs in color, structure, and taste from Argentine, Paraguayan, or Uruguayan yerba. It resembles green tea matcha – a powder made from finely chopped leaves with a small amount of stems. It is usually vacuum-sealed within the first week after harvesting, which helps maintain a higher level of chlorophyll, giving it a bright neon green color. Chimarrao is a symbolic drink of Rio Grande do Sul in Brazil, but it is also consumed in Paraná, Santa Catarina, and cities where gaucho migration occurred, such as Sinop in Mato Grosso. South American countries like Argentina, Chile, Uruguay, and Paraguay also drink chimarrao. The taste of Rei Verde Chimarrao Tradicional is quite fresh, grassy, gentle, and light. It has interesting accents, such as tea, light cereal, or biscuit notes.
A great choice for a relaxed afternoon or a generally calm day.
